Vol 22 (2010) Borders in a Theatrical Landscape

Volume 22 of Nordic Theatre Studies has a rather poetic title, where borders should here be seen in a broad sense. Borders can be between different theatre epochs, acting styles etc. But there is also the possibility of studying borders between countries and regions and how they are reflected on the stage. Another possibility can be to explore how rituals have emerged on border crossings, as well as memories of borders. The Nordic hemisphere (including the Baltic States) has undergone dramatic changes during the last 300 years. Continue reading
