Late return of short loans does not bring a borrowing-ban any more

If you return a short loan late to the Library, you will not get a borrowing ban for one week any more. However, the overdue charge of 15 euros remains. Borrowing ban practice was removed during changes in the library systems.

The short loan books that can be borrowed for a day or weekend supplement the Library’s textbook collection. They are intended to circulate quickly from one reader to another, so the students have wished that the consequences of a late return are noticeable. The Library assumes that an overdue charge of 15 euros is a sufficient stimulus to returning in time.

In Linna library the pink information slips have been removed from the short loan copies. So when you borrow a short loan, we recommend that you keep the receipt with the due date and time.
